There many Nature and Wildlife Activities to take part in while at Tankah Inn. Sian Ka'an is an extensive reserved area just minutes from Tankah. In addition, there are many other activities related to ecotourism, wildlife preservation, environmental education programs and volunteer work -short or long term. Another natural site is the "Mono Araña" Monkey reserve which you can combine with a visit to Coba Ruins.

Also, the beaches of Quintana Roo are among the few on earth where endangered sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs. You can follow their tracts to learn more about their history, identification, and help their fight against extinction.
